Though not as glamorous as other projects, one of the first and ongoing challenges I set out to fix as the head of the PAX department was SPI’s internal and external documentation and presentation materials.

During my time as a UX/UI designer, I observed that every department was using different versions of our product and corporate brands; that each group had their own Microsoft Word and PowerPoint templates; that many people within the organization needed simple but clear instructions on how to efficiently communicate their messages.

In partnering with HR, Safran Corporate and Sales, I created a common design language for all of our documentation. Whether created in Adobe InDesign or Microsoft Office, I strove to bring the same ease-of-use to SPI’s documents as I did with our interfaces. While I am not at liberty to share all templates, I have highlighted two of my favorites.
